These guys are locked, loaded and ready to roll! Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, the Nola Bangers are gearing up to burn some serious rubber on this year’s rally from Montreal to New Orleans. The team is comprised of Bullrun veteran, Dudley Geigerman, and his new rally partner, Bobby Couvillion.

Dudley’s introduction to the legendary Bullrun rally was way back in 2006 and 2007 when he travelled to a few of Bullrun’s top parties alongside Bullrunner, Jared Reicke. He’s been hooked ever since.

Dudley first drove in the rally in 2010 alongside Ricky Chancey. The two friends from New Orleans made up Team Luckynutz. Upon arriving at the finish line in Las Vegas, it was announced at the Bullrun awards ceremony that they had won the Bullrun Navigator Award, which Dudley regards as his top Bullrun moment.

“The best experience by far was standing with Ricky on the stage in Vegas with the 1st place belt looking out at the crowd of 700 people,” he said.

The Luckynutz duo returned in 2011 to reprise their Navigator Award win, but after some bad luck on the first leg and some medical problems near the end of the rally, Team Luckynutz was out of the running for the Navigator Award. But this year, Dudley is fired up more than ever before, ready to take home the sought-after award once again.

“Look, this is gonna be the most competitive year ever for the title,” Geigerman exclaimed.  “Obviously my brothas Seth and Tony feel like they have something to prove since we got a flat in 2011 plus a broken dick, and they won.”

Geigerman, alongside the Big Easy Bandits, is looking to take home the Navigator Award for New Orleans. This year, he’s looking to do it with his powerhouse co-driver and brand new Bullrun rally car.

“My rally partner is a balls-out crazy guy named Bobby Couvillion. He’s been shot twice, stabbed twice, most competitive bastard I know,” said Geigerman.  “I don’t think a Lil’ speed is gonna shake him!”

The Nola Bangers are driving a Dodge Charger SRT8, “modified with all kinds of crap!!!”

Geigerman says the plan this year is to: “Run hard, party harder, consume tons of Ibuprofen and 5-hour energy and win!!!”

In terms of the Nola Bangers’ strongest asset, Geigerman and Couvillion agree that it’s their families. “They are our life,” Geigerman exclaimed.  “Bobby’s and my kids can’t wait to see us cross the finish line first, and we don’t plan on letting them down!”

Geigerman says if he could tell the Bullrun newbies anything, it would be: “to enjoy nice slow rides along America’s beautiful streets and stay the hell out of our way!!!”

But more than winning, Geigerman says the thing he enjoys most about Bullrun is the camaraderie on the rally.

“We love the Texas girls, not just because they have boobs, because Phil and Drake have boobs as well,” he said. “Ricky and Billy, Shaun Patrick and Brandon (Rolling7), Jeb, Schwabby, Dave and Sylvie,  Seth is my northern Jewish brother, Andy is my Nola Bellend, my true brother Jay Riecke, who I finally get to do a rally with.”

Couvillion, who has never done Bullrun before, has already begun his Bullrun preparations with Geigerman by completing three local road rallies, two of which the duo came in first.

“Over the past few years I have made some great friends via the Bullrun community and I am looking to make a lot more,” Couvillion said. “Dudley and I are the same, very competitive!! For years I raced Daytona Prototypes and would do test runs with Krohn Racing out of Houston TX. Some of the Bullrunners I have yet to meet face to face, but I have heard great things about them all. In the spirit of competition I say, sit down, buckle up, and hold on, because Dudley and I will run as we live, hard and fast!!!!”

Q&A with Dudley Geigerman:

1.      How did you originally hear about Bullrun?

Jay Riecke was the first New Orleanian to do it in ’06 and he is one of my closest people in my life, so I traveled to a few Bullrun parties in ’06-’07 and made some good friends. Jared also owns New Orleans Watch Company and designed the 10th anniversary Bullrun drivers watches, they are fucking BADASS!!!  Everyone needs to get there watches ordered for the starting line with their numbers engraved!!!!

2.      You’ve already done two Bullrun rallies with this being your third. Looking back at past Bullrun rallies, what’s the experience that sticks out the most?

The best experience by far was standing with Ricky on the stage in Vegas with the 1st place belt looking out at the crowd of 700 people.

3.      Tell me about the plan for this year. Do you know what you are driving this year, who’s your teammate?

My rally partner is a balls out crazy guy named Bobby Couvillion. He’s been shot twice, stabbed twice, most competitive bastard I know.  I don’t think a Lil’ speed is gonna shake him!!  We Are driving a Charger SRT8, modified with all kinds of crap!!  We aren’t scared to tell peeps our plan!  Run hard, party harder, tons of ibuprofen and 5 hour energy and win!!!!

4.      Last time you did Bullrun it was with Ricky Chancey in 2011. You guys had a great in-car dynamic. What’s it going to be like inside the 2nd Amendment car this year?

I love Ricky!!!  We meshed well and fought and hugged it out more than Tom & Jerry!!  Bobby and I have the same sight on Bullrun this year, make friends for life with the Bullrun family, and leave them all in our dust!!!

5.      You’ve won the Navigator Award before and it sounds like you’re ready to snatch the title once again. Tell me how badly you want it!

Look, this is gonna be the most competitive year ever for the title!!  Obviously my brothas Seth and Tony feel like they have something to prove since we got a flat in 2011 plus a broken dick, and they won and last year they won with a few powerhouses missing the rally.  Ricky and Billy have been planning for this year since the finale last year.  They can flat out drive and navigate with the best of them.  David Pearsall is probably the fiercest driver on the rally and this year he’s gonna have the hottest navigator as well!!

Shaun Patrick is gonna be a dark horse this year, he’s ready and ain’t scared, Phil and Nickelodeon will be strong as long as Drake quits singing into the camera while his driver needs some navigation!!  But the smart money is on Bobby and me, I plan on being 1 of 3 teams in Bullrun history with 2 first place belts!!

6.      With the rally ending in New Orleans, does that give you an advantage over the other teams? Do you have some tricks waiting for the drivers? Will you have some allies helping you out near the finish line?

Bobby is a bounty hunter so he has made some friends with some shady characters that plan on doing anything we ask them to do, to help us win, just to keep Bobby off their asses on an everyday basis!!  I don’t think many teams will get past the “gauntlet”!!!  Ending in Nola is a HUGE advantage for all 3 Nola teams

7.      What do you consider to be your team’s strongest asset this year?

Our strongest assets are our families. They are our life!!! Bobby’s and my kids can’t wait to see us cross the finish line first, and we don’t plan on letting them down!

8.      What does your rally preparation involve for the rally?

Bobby and I prepped for the rally by running 3 mini rallies down south, where we won 2 and placed 2nd in the final one!!  Our Livers stay pickled all year long so the parties won’t be a problem as well!!

9.      If you could give the Bullrun newbies some advice, what would it be?

I would tell them all to enjoy nice slow rides along America’s beautiful streets and stay the hell out of our way!!! Seriously, this will be the greatest week of their life, we welcome them to the Bullrun family, pack pain killers and energy, AND STAY THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!!

10.  With you being one of the more experienced teams on the rally, what are you doing differently to outwit the other teams?

We have made fantastic alliances with most of the teams, we will utilize them as much as possible!  We look at Jeb Lopez as a 3rd team member, he knows the Northeast as well as anyone!!  Once we get South, we’ll own it!!

11.  What’s the thing you enjoy most about Bullrun?

The thing I enjoy most is the comraderie, we love the Texas girls, not just because they have boobs, because Phil and Drake have boobs as well. Ricky and Billy, Shaun Patrick and Brandon, Jeb, Schwabby, Dave and Sylvie,  Seth is my northern Jewish brother, Andy is my Nola Bellend, my true brother Jay Riecke I finally get to do a rally with, we are gonna miss the hell out of team Arkansas, the Wu’s, Claus, and Bill Shepherd our favorite chiropractor!!

12.  Is there anything else you would like to add?

This is Bobby Couvillion chiming in. Over the past few years I have made some great friends via the Bullrun community and I am looking to make a lot more. Dudley and I are the same, very competitive!! For years I raced Daytona Prototypes and would do test runs with Krohn Racing out of Houston TX. Some of the Bullrunners I have yet to meet face to face, but I have heard great things about them all. In the spirit of competition I say, sit down, buckle up, and hold on, because Dudley and I will run as we live, hard and fast!!!!
