Occupation: Transportation Manager

About:

I am 49years old with my 50th birthday in early September about the time we will compete in Bullrun. It would a huge gas to compete and win the BullRun for my 50th Birthday. In my spare time I believe in giving back to my community, so I donate my time as the recent past President and current Treasurer of the Fightin’ Gator Touchdown Club a non profit organization managing a ½ million dollars + annual budget.  Fightin’ Gator Touchdown Club is an organization that provides permanently endowed scholarships to the National Championship University of Florida Gator Athletes.  For the last 14 yrs. I have organized the largest homecoming float (97" 6" L.) to date in the annual UF Homecoming parade.  I am an absolute diehard Gator!                                                                                                                                                                                                                        I have worked in the transportation industry since the early 80’s. I operate my own transportation agency for a major transportation group out of Pittsburgh, Pa. providing truck service to major manufacturers and Shippers throughout the US.  I have strong natural driving skills and I am self taught tractor trailer operator and have 1.8 million miles + under my belt. I have lived in N. Central Florida since 1974 and my wife is a native Floridian. I am the father of 2 children who are both adults now. I have coached Pop Warner football and girls softball.  For the last 3 years in the winter & early spring I have mentored a teenage Girl in an FFA feeder steer program. When my son was younger he had a Bill Goldberg wrestling buddy and Goldberg was one of his idols.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           From the time I was 10 till I was a young man I trained and showed horses all over the country first with my Dad and then on my own for other horse owners. At the age of 13 I won Reserve National Champion Showmanship award in the National Appaloosa breed show in Santa Rosa, Ca. One of the competitions I participated in while showing horses was cross country endurance rides, which were timed and had checkpoints. When I was 18 to 21 yrs. Old I had an Enduro motorcycle and would compete in 50 to 100 mile Enduros in Florida. Enduros are timed checkpoint style racing on both paved and dirt backwoods environments.  For a time in my mid 40’s a raced a Go cart that had a top speed of 120mph on asphalt road courses in Florida.   Running 1" of the ground @ 120mph is one the most heart pumping adreline rush you can experiance.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                I am fun loving believer of living every day for all its worth all the will trying to stay humble and down to earth and not forgetting to give respect to God for the gifts he has blessed me with.   It would be great to be a part of your awesome BullRun crew. I feel I could lend alot to your already talented group. It would be a hell of a 50th birthday. I could be the " Mark Martin" of the teams picked for Season 3. Eh?

About My Team:

We are a husband wife team of 25 years of marriage.  We have two children 19 & 21 years of age. We run a business together for the last 17 years. When we where first married we put everything in storage and became a husband wife long haul tractor trailer drivers traveling across the US and Canada looking for a place to raise our children, but after all of that searching we realized that it doesn’t get much better than living right here in Gator Country! We love to travel and spend time with our friends. Together we bring a lot of fun and excitement to the things we get involved in. When we get involved in something we give 110% and are known for the quality job we do and seeing things through to the best possible outcome.
