Hi im Gary Jr. im about 18 years old and my current daily driver is a 2003 Chevy Malibu (numbers matching, all original), but me and my dad have spent much time restoring a 1970 Camaro z28. I think it would be frikken badass to be on bullrun so i made this profile.

In the most professional way possible, Team Camaro really, really, really, really, really wants to be on TV. Not to even mention the badassery of every car we've seen on the show, the way the show's producers manage to work unnecessary explosions into every challenge they come up with, and how awesome it is to have an excuse to drive a 1970 z28 cross country. No, being on TV is the single greatest goal in the history of mankind.

Team z28 was founded by the dynamic father/son duo of Gary and Steve De Amaral. for the last decade or so, we've worked hard restoring two 1970 Camaro z28 Rally Sports. Every weekend possible, I would find myself in the family garage watching my dad relenlessly cuss out whatever piece of machinery was currently bothering him, while standing off to the side and nodding in agreement. After much pain and hardwork (restoring old parts for the most part, not ordering fancy new parts off the internet), are finally on the brink of finishing our restoration, only needing a couple cosmetic parts.

Before the car was painted, me and my dad were very split over whether to go silver or yellow. As fate would have it, we watched Transformers just before we needed to make a final decision, and we took it as a sign that bumblee was the way to go. Thats the way Team Camaro rolls.

Me and my dad think alike, and both agree that the key to winning a race is having a faster time than anyone else. This fusion of teamwork means that we truly understand what it takes to be Bullrun champions. Also, my innate ability to fail at reading a map and have my dad snatch it from me and attempt to read it while going 80 mph will definately contribute to the awesome Bullrun powerhouse that is Team Camaro.
