I am an Engineering student who has cars on the brain 24/7. I first fell in love with automobiles during the first Woodward Dream Cruise when the police shut down northbound Woodward at 12-mile and turned it into a drag strip. That memory stuck in my mind and made me crazy about cars. I have been a member of the Detroit region SCCA and have been autocrossing for the past two years. During the past two summers I worked 300 miles away from home and would drive home every weekend to visit my friends who were home from school, but after the first 3 or 4 times I started to do it just because I enjoyed the drive. My dad and I rebuilt a 1970 Challenger R/T with a 440 a few years ago...it still runs great and was our first complete engine rebuild.
