I'm a life long New Yorker who was born in Lower Manhattan then raised in Brooklyn and Eastern Long Island. Being in NYC all this time I've seen it all  from unselfish acts of kindness by total strangers, to the tragedy of 9/11 to having a gun flashed at me on the NYC Subway. NY'rs may be hard on the outside but on the inside they're the best people on earth.
