I am 22 years old, born and raised just outside of New Orleans, LA in Harvey. I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in May 2008 with a B.S. in Forensic Chemistry and I am currently getting my Master's in Forensic Drug Chemistry. I got my first, and only one to this point, car when I was 16 and in high school, which is about the time I really started to get interested in cars. It is a 1998 Ford Mustang, nothing too special, but she is in better shape now than when I got her.  I didn't have much mechanical know-how when I started out, but I have done most of the work myself with some help from co-driver, Josh.

Have fun and be able to laugh at yourself. More and more, recently, I have come to learn that life is far too short and important not to be able to take the small things and let them go as fast as possible. It is also very important to stay vulnerable and be able to laugh at oneself. No one can do better than their overall potential. It is important to recognize this fact and test against the potential of others. Only then, can you find the things that set you apart from the rest of the field.

My co-driver is my future (hopefully) brother-in-law. We have known each other for almost five years now. We come from two very different ends of the 'smarts' spectrum. Whereas I have had very little experience actuall working on cars or other machines, Josh is a very hands-on 'I'll read the instructions later' type of guy.

I would love to be a part of the Bullrun show for several reasons, at the top is to challenge not only myself but also the abilities of my car that I have poured my blood, sweat, and tears into. I also believe that it is the opportunity of a lifetime to go places and do things that you would never think about doing on a daily basis. After watching the show, I have found that it is as much about self-exploration and teamwork as it is about driving and winning.

In addition, I have found that my team mate and I work well together when a problem presents itself. The opportunity to put that ability to the test in the situations presented in Bullrun would be the ultimate in seeing just what we can do as a team.

Critical thinking and listening are my two biggest strengths. However, I have been known to over-think things. I rely a lot on a step-by-step mode of thinking. Whether that is the scientific nature in me or just a precaution having been burned too many times by not figuring everything out, I don't know.  It typically serves me well, however, when it comes to make a plan or carry out an objective.
