The contestants from Season 1 all got invites to the 2007 BR- Montreal to Key West rally. I think they got a spot in the rally for free, but I can't be positive.
I don't believe the reality
I don't believe the reality TV show contestants have to pay $20k. Its a chance to compete for $200k
The actual rally has a $20k
The actual rally has a $20k entry fee, not the reality TV show.
He is correct. They got an
He is correct. They got an invite for the run and didn't have to pay.
We will most likely be in NY for the launch then we will ride with them for the day, but as of now I don't see us having the funds to enter unless we make it on the show. Work has not been what it should be the past few months and it's going to take a long time to get back on track.

No, the only publicised
No, the only publicised destinations are the start and finish. The in-between cities are kept secret until the day of arrival to prevent cheating. make sure you keep an eye on this website as Bullrun gets closer. The route as it happens, will be posted here.

There's more than likely still a spot on the 2009 rally. Who did you e-mail? info@bullrun.com? Thay can be a bit slow in replying. Make sure that you have something in the e-mail title about a bullrun 2009 enquiery or entry to the rally. Try e-mailing samantha@bullrun.com. I think she is in charge of a lot of the planning and applications. Good luck!
As per wheather to do Bullrun or Gumball, that depands on wheather you want to go from L.A. to Miami (GB3K) or NY to Austin (BR). Bullrun is usually cheaper than Gumball anyway and has a closer, more fun group of people.

The real Rally costs $20,000 to enter. Up to 100 cars are on the starting grid. They drive across the U.S. over 7 days, stop in 7 cities, party hard, continue driving the next day. The real rally has no rules. You can bring any gadget you can dream of, drive as fast as you want and have loads of fun. The reality show is filmed for TV, it consists of 12 teams who partake in challanges which eiminate contestants until there is a handful left. Those then compete for the grand prize of $200,000.
The real rally is about fun, itr has no prizes and no eliminations. The reality show is about trying to stay in the game, like any other reality show. To get an idea of what the real Bullrun is, on the main page, watch the Bullrun 2007 rally from Montreal to Key West. there's 10, 10min episodes. That'll give you an idea of what the real Bullrun is like. then you can compare it to the reality show.
