"There were no cops, no trees, no humans of any kind so we decided to wring out the little Ford. For 47 minutes straight the Fusion was pinned at 111 mph with the A/C on getting 25mpg. John, Gabe and I all sat there astonished. We made one fuel stop, saw no other Bullrunners and came in... are you ready... 6th place for the day! IN A RENTED FORD FUSION!! CAN I GET A BOOYA!!!
Ford people, if you are reading this contact me immediately because I don't think you know how good this little car is. Seriously, we should talk about perhaps producing some Ford Fusion "MR. ANGRY" editions. I LOVE THIS CAR!"
on stop 1,000 miles could be fun with the right amount of cars

I have had supercharger and turbos on my truck and found that the supercharger is limited when it comes to making upgrades which I am a big fan of.
I don't think they ever did a Bullrun 1000. They planned to but never did. It was supposed to be a shorter Bullrun. 1000 miles in 3 days instead of 3000+ miles in 7 days. Cheaper entry fee. I think the idea of the Bullrun 1000 changed after they decided not to do it. Instead they said that regular people could create a Bullrun 1000 event. In the Bullrun 1000 section it says if you plan a Bullrun 1000, you will gain access to official Bullrun merchendise and stickers to use for the rally. Will anyone take on the challange?

1000 miles in 3 days... dunno if I can go that slow
I mean seriously. I went from Phoenix to San Antonio in about 10 hours(might have been closer to 11... I was governed at 100). Not to mention the number of times I drove from PHX to Denver, played a show, then got right back in the Burb and headed to the next show.
I have an idea...Get really drunk and thrown in Jail, we all have to go in front of the Judge for D/D..or in Public or whatever..Race starts from courthouse steps to finish line in one day...then we get drunk and thrown in jail again...3 days of fun..just like the real thing!
1.) It could be really easy and fun...we 200 cars to get $500 sponsorship...like $.10 a mile they complete in the run...that's $100 if they finish..find 5 people...easy...
2.)Get 2 cities roughly 1,000 miles apart with some intersting roads between them
3.) Contact the vistors bureau and tell them that we are bringing 400 people in from out of town, not to mention the amount of people that would come just to see the cars.
4.) OK..here's the good stuff...the winner gets a kick ass trophy...I even custom build it myself...but no money$$...but the bragging rights on here alone will be pricless....W donate the sponsorship monies to the 2 cities that hosted us..childrens hospitals, homeless shelters, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, etc...We could raise $200k for people that really could use it, all the while doing a Bullrun!!!! I would pretty much guruantee that we could find 2 host cities that would put us all up for free if we are going to turn around and give so much back...
I don't have a lot of time to committ, but I would help all I can, and I could guruantee 7-8 of the Season 2 teams would do it, and from what I've seen on here..probably 4-5 of Season 1 guys..I think it would kickass, because it wouldn't be about the $$$, but the spirit of the competition, and car people doing what they do best.
I'd be in for that and might be able to get 2-3 more

If Season 3 doesn't run in the Midwest I think we should organize something say... along the MIssissippi. Ther are plenty of historical sites along the way as well as a Drag Strip or two where we could let it all hang out legally.
I can do a thousand miles in my sleep!! (I think I've done it driving back from San Diego)

This sounds pretty awesome. I'd have to sell a lot of drugs (or one REALLY good one) to afford $20k to run the real rally :(
