k, but um... who is he lettin enter this thing, cuz I know my ride aint much, but my buddy Lou has money and a damn sweet ride, so I was curious as to entry fees, if at all possible for us to enter...but yeah dude, let us know...

But I dunno whether ill fly or not,,,, i do still hav school goin on but if I can get the time off I will try to drive out there, Ive always wanted to drive out to Illinois n e ways so,,, yeah I would definitely like to go... Sounds like a bunch of fun. Mike drivin Mr. Angry or ANGRIER??? I kno he had problems with her during the last bullrun... I never heard what became of ANGRIER....

 He ran it in the FIreball run 2008 and it ran fine. It broke down during Bullrun because the car wasn't done yet when Bullrun came around. During the first leg, one of the custom built 3-piece wheels seperated and broke off. With custom wheels, he couldn't just put on a spare.

 

I wish I could be there. I'm a huge Mr. Angry fan. He's really into his new enterprenaur career. Business owner, rally organizer. Crazy stuff, and all because he was on the Bullrun reality show.

I doubt they are leaving from the one on Adams...The W hotel downtown is mostly under construction and Adams is not a good spot for a start. They are probably leaving from the one on Lakeshore Drive. There are two W Hotels here...

Sounds good! I hope I don't embarrass the Ford guys out there...At the end of the day we could only do our best, right?

But regardless of what happens, I think Mike and I had the best time doing it! It was a BLAST!

Damn, that sux. I was kinda putting time restraints on myself if I could go. I have to be at work the 16th by 330pm. So I'd be racing back to the QC after the start.

actually im trying to plan it so i can still go to the mother lode rally.  i think i can do both actually,  i looked at their route on their website, and it looks like they drive through the wisconsin dells !

For those wanting to go to the starting line like myself for the "Mother Lode Rally",  a new date has been announced!!

The Mother Lode Rally will now run Sept. 18th-25th 2009.

Mike sent me a message today about the motherlode rally.  it is on for September 18 - 25

so i will be at the start in chicago september 18 and 19th, 

as long as bullrun season 3 is not filming during this time ...

10 more days untill this thing starts in chicago !

Mike just got back to me,   The Motherlode Rally has been canceled !    thats sucks

Probably a lack of interest. He only had eight teams signed up last time I checked.

The motherlode web site still shows a countdown to start, 1 day.

I plan on meeting them at the finish if it does happen.

 I was originally going to go out, but then heard it was cancelled. haha

 

It's only a 9 hour drive for me...maybe I should give it a try. haha

 Talked to Mike today...it's cancelled. They are going to try again in May of next year. He said it's not due to lack of interest, but merely the crappy economy.
