2010 NYC - Las Vegas

Bullrun 2010 was a year for the history books. The rally started on the historic Pier 54 in New York City and travelled all the way across the country to finish seven days later on Fremont Street in Las Vegas! Among the regular cast of crazy Bullrun characters this year were the infinitely funny Cuban Brothers and Rap Legend Ice-T with his model wife, Coco. Kim Kardashian returned for flag waving duties. Team Oh! Canada in their black and silver Maserati GranSport led the way off the famous Pier 54 heading for the Holland Tunnel. Mass confusion sent Bullrunners all over the city, and those who were navigationally superior and more prepared showed their cards. Ricky and Dudley of Team LuckynutZ hired a limousine driver to lead them out of the city, and unsurprisingly, they were one of the first out of the Big Apple. The rally headed onward to Cleveland, Chicago, Omaha, Boulder, Telluride, Scottsdale and finally Las Vegas! On this year’s seven day odyssey, the Bullrunners stopped off at the strangely named Amish town of Intercourse, PA for a tasty meal, completed some hot laps at the Michigan International Speedway and Iowa Speedway. Bullrun legend, Richard Rawlings joined the rally in Boulder, and the Bullrun regulars were very happy to see him! While en route, the Wu’s pulled off some devious pranks in their state-of-the-art Dodge Charger Trapster Patrol Car with more gadgets and gizmos than a navy frigate. Robert ‘EuroCruise’ Valik pulled off some very epic drifting at the IMI Motorsports complex, some of the more daring drivers took to the off-road dirt track, including Dave Pearsall in his Maserati GranTurismo, and Rawlings traversed the side of a mountain on a seldom-used dirt road to beat the rest of the Bullrunners to their Telluride checkpoint. Team LuckynutZ took home the coveted Navigator Award, much to everyone’s surprise. But these Bullrun newbies proved their worth and ultimately beat out the likes of Claus, Rawlings and the other more competitive drivers. All in all, another crazy year!
