Nissan 240sx 89 and up Discuss what you want.

 Ok this is very much self explanatory. I own an 89 Nissan 240sx. I love it to death which just so happens to have well happend. (-_-)

So My thoughts are since I will be at Boot Camp for a few months i will have the engine and transmission Overhauled at a Mechannics Shop near my home. The Engine is the main problem. It wont start due to lack of Compression, Not to mention it may need new piston rings, and new gaskets, As well as a new battery, and anything the mechanics say is wrong inside the engine. If i could and ever had the money one day i will put a SR20DET into her but that is like signing my own Death Warrent. So i Will be Sticking with KA24E for the time being. May not have alot in the power section but im not about Power. Not to mention that the Car was an Automatic. I hope i can have that swapped as well.

Any Ideas. I live in Ohio so just to clarify. Getting a car like my Nissan to start now since its battery Dead, Coolant Resivoir frozen and any other water the radiator frozen. would be fatal to what might be left of my Engine. If it can be rebuilt.
