BULLRUN II (SPEED): Here come the new fans. Welcome to the Party!

I can't tell you just how happy I am to be able to say "WELCOME" to all those that are going to be coming to know Bullrun and the Party that it is. You know that so many friends of Bullrun have stood beside Andy and David while the TV screen was just static. So we will need even more of those type of fans to prove to the program managers at Speed to keep this party going. So I am opening my arms to welcome them to this party.

 I welcome those new fans even if they might make it harder for me to get on the next show. But if we can't get people to see just what fun this concept is then we could lose this show forever and I don't think it is going to be saved for a second time.  This is our last chance to make it a hit.

 To tell you the truth I was a little hurt not to make it to the high water mark for running this season. But after talking to and learning about the teams that did make the show this season. (READ MY BLOG's if you don't know who they are yet.) I believe that casting did a great job this year. I would even go as far as saying that these teams are perfect spokespersons for the show. They are willing to talk to fans and not act like snobs like some of the last group of teams did. Most of this years teams are real people that work for a living and have a true passion for driving. Sure some of them are "rich" and live in a world we can only dream about. Those teams aren't the ones that are going to bring the average joe over to the Bullrun. Its Team Avalanche, Team Solstice, and Team Dart that are going to help keep this show going. I know that I have left out a couple of other teams on that list and don't mean anything by it. 

  So as these new fans start talking crap about other fans cars and letting us know that we don't have a chance at ever driving in the rally. Just remember we too at one time were that jackass. And some of you are still that jackass and you should give a little credit to them. I'm not saying that you should take their crap laying down but don't try to drive them off either. We are going to need them to get the show back for a third season.  I would even ask you to stop in to a few of the new profiles and offer to befriend them and post a comment to let them know that they are part of the forum group.  Offer some help on how to improve their profile. That way we can get people to stick around and find out why we enjoy the rally so much.  The stronger the forum the better chance of reaching that fan mass needed to get the show renewed for the third time. Its going to be up to all the fans to keep this show on the air.
 

  The teams that ran this years race have done their part and that is all we can ask of them. So you have to try to do a little something to help keep this going. Why not tell a friend or burn a DVD for a friend at work. Show them why its great to be apart of  BULLRUN. Get them to watch a great show and help get this show a third term!
