I think that is the issue about a site that is dedicated to a particular subject, but there hasn't been any new information on that subject in almost a year.

There are little snipits here and there, but it just isn't enough to actually generate a worth while conversation. On top of that fact, I think there are about 4 million (give or take) reasons you, aaron, tony, and everyone else can't say anything. Beleive me, we WANT to ask you guys questions. We WANT to engage you in conversation.. We WANT to know details!

I've tried to get a few subjects going, but there just isn't as much to talk about as we would like. Granted, that doesn't mean that every response has been on subject.. In fact, it is probably only a short time before this thread is about something else entirely.

I know you didn't really want a response, but I have to say that I completely see where you are coming from. This is the filler. These threads are the fat. When the season actually starts, and we get a huge influx of new people, there will be hundreds of threads about bullrun that will stay mostly on topic. I think we are all looking forward to that day. In the mean time, I'll keep chewing the fat for a lack of anything else to do, and to put it rather bluntly.

There are really only 2 things the site can do right now. Talk about nothing, or talk about everything. The outspoken majority has chosen the latter. Some of it is entertaining, some of it is just down right weird.. But, it's what the site is right now. I just hope everyone sticks around until we can actually TALK about something interesting.. I have so many questions right now I'm burning up inside.. I can't even imagine what you contestants are actually going through.

As for the odd topics, that's why I don't post alot.  There's been alot of inside jokes between different parties, and I'm not even sure what to say most of the time.  (Good example is the flippin the finger thing from Halloween.)  I'm also not into flaming people on the forums boards, and am not good at it, so I just leave that be.  I'm just silently waiting for S3 to be on, talk to start about Bullrun 2010, and the fan cruises to become the hot topics.  I still love Bullrun, it's just the "off season" so to speak.  The time between the Bullrun Rally, and the TV show.

I do look forward to info on both S3 and the 2010 rally.

I just remember what happened last year after the series began to air... and I couldn't get onto the site. Not looking forward to that again! But yeah, it's really off topic this time around and I have to agree with mdlucky's comments. Nobody's allowed to talk just yet and that makes it pretty damn tough. I personnally am waiting to go and attend the Route 66 event so I can put faces to the sigs and get to know a few more people (since none of you ever come visit me). It's pretty dry now but it will come back once the action hits the screen (and the teasers get aired). The ones that come to mind from last year were the Team Evo flight and Team Dart's Ringling Brothers activities. I'd say hang in there but I'm sure you will regardless. Can't wait to see that Challenger tear it up a little. By the way, what do they look like with scratches and dents?

I am not tooo fond of the random talk either, hence why I usually only post in the relevant Bullrun topics. As was stated before, with no new info to discusss, what else are people supposed to do? The alternative is that the site will dry up like the empty period between Seasons 1 and 2 where there were only five or six people posting on the forums, and that was only a post or two a day. We don't want that to happen again, so it's better that people are discussing something rather than nothing. I can't wait until we see the first ad (TV, print, billboard) for Season 3! That'll bring more people to the website. I especially can't wait until the reality show airs! That is going to be a fun season to watch!

Rebel, to explain the finger thing.  It started with me and Kristina from team BMW, we were just bored sitting around while the sets for the show were being set up.  I shot her the finger, you know, friendly rippin on other teams and I was probably flirting a little.  Well, it kinda became the thing me and her did for the rest of filming in all sorts of different ways.  You know the game.  Then we started sending pics back and forth over the phone and it has evolved into a big game of ours.  Elvis got involved because I got wind that he was going to go to her Halloween party and I asked him to give her the finger for me when he got there, I still owe him $50 for that favor.  So the game continues in all sorts of ways, just some friendly messing around between the teams.  Now you know.  I hope you feel a little more informed now.
