Well since Bill Goldberg has officially tweeted that they are starting filming, I can voice my emothional expierence they put Me and Loni through.

1st contact) Well, We got a Email from Shane saying the producers liked are video and we made it to the top 30! We are very excited but not getting are hopes up..

2nd contact) Sept 4 we do the webcam interview with Andy and David(I think that was his name) All went well very nice guys.

3rd contact) Sept 6th Shane calls Us and says were the 1st Alternate and gets us to fed ex him the signed contracts, AKA the Book 35pgs, waivers etc. Shane said to get this to him asap because teams were known for dropping at the last minute and not getting paper work signed. Still not getting are hopes up.

4th contact) Shanes calls a few days later and gets my Address were the Jeep is located and me and Lonis T-shirt sizes..Just in case! Now were getting a little pumped

5th contact)Up to this point we had the attitude that we were still a long shot, Well the casting company really pissed me off on this one! Some girl named Ryan from casting called My mom and Lonis Mom This Saturday and told them that a team was dropping out and the only way to get in touch with me and Loni for the duration of the shoot would be with this Phone number she gave them, she said for us to expect a phone call sunday or Monday from the producers on what to do next.My mom ask if we had made it and Ryan said she wouldnt be calling if it wasnt serious. Well its Tuesday afternoon and no phone call! Not even to say, sorry not this year. We had to find out through the grapevine(twitter)

Me and Loni had been keeping this a secrect to avoid letting family members down etc but in one day my Immediate family was calling me and wishing us good luck and !@#$ just for me to have to call them today and say we were denied. Loni was so pumped, she almost cried when she saw BG tweet.. I think she was more pissed they would get our hopes up like that then never even give us a curtosey call. just had us starring at the phone for 2 days.

Well, Were gonna keep our hopes up for next year, Good luck to those who made the cut!!!! Team JEEP

your exact situation happened to alot of guys that tried out for the casting last year ...

gee deja vu...   good thing you guys even got noticed LOL... I didn't even make it past them watching out video... HAH..    Go back in time there, you can read what happened to me...  I had my car packed, told I was in... and then nothing...  I felt like a complete idiot coming into work... 

Sounds really similar to our experience. You live and learn. We always had a plan-b. We are ready for the 2010 rally season! Thanks for sharing the ride you all had. We didn't get a call saying no either. No hard feelings. They have a huge burden having to pick 12 out of however many they had submitted. It will be cool to see if any of the teams are people from the website or from the rally.

Sounds familiar here too. After the casting interview, we were basically packed as well and never heard a word back.

That really sucks!! i really liked you and loni hopefully it'll be like s2 where most of the teams got passed up from s1 and got placed in s2...

I know how you feel.....

All the hype i got early on and all i got was a first call saying i was a favorite or something.....then nothing after that....

And to think of how my car is setup now was just a waste. I made my drag car into a street car by spending a couple grand on making it "streetable"

And i wrote both andy and shane asking for just even a no answer over a week ago and i have still heard nothing. Not any kind of response.

Im just gonna try and go help clay with "drag race high" i guess.

I'll look for you on the next Season of Drag Race High.   Why not bring the Civette to Canada in two weekends since it is streetable now?

I personally had a number of contacts with Shane, but never got to the part where the contract was sent to me. However he did respond to my last email about a week ago with:    "It looks like they have made their decision for this season. Sorry for bad news. We will give it another go next season"

I really cannot complain, after all, there are people here that have been trying since the beginning, and to get even close on the first try was not to bad as far as I am concerned. 

Now thats positive thinking Mike.

I think we all need to step it up for next season and do something "off the hook" to get the attention needed.
 

How about a "group team" season 4 video ? for those of us that can get together and put one together. Maybe the fan cruise will be the start of it all.....

Some spots up north on the mississippi are narrow enough to walk across.

 We got the initial email, and a follow up asking for pics, but that was it.  We couldn't get good shots of the car because the bumper was off getting painted in case we made it.  Lesson learned for next year, when we do the video, get some promoition shots at that time.  

I'm considering buying an old Toyota truck and fabbing a C5 Corvette drivetrain and suspension under it.  Maybe that gets their attention?  Or maybe it just ruins a Corvette and a pick-em-up....

It sucks to get your hopes up so high only to be let down. 

We got one call to see if we were interested and never heard anything back after that.  All I can say is that NYC was a Blast and it was  pleasure to be a part of the Bullrun Kickoff experience in 2009.  We auditioned for Season 3 understanding the challenges.  It was fun and it was also great meeting those that went to NYC.  

Team Jeep, It is Hollywood, Don't take it personal. Congrats for making it that further than most. 

Now I can't wait to watch season three!!!  I am sure it will be better than ever.

Don't think just the bumper cover being off would hold yah back. We didn't even have a running car when we auditioned LOL... they care alot more about personalities than the actual cars, sorry to say. Do like youre saying and change up somethin, and hopefully enough to catch their eyes for next season

Same story here.  Email- like your profile send a video, phone call- kick ass video, loved this and that, send some photos, email- send another video with this, this and this.  Then nothing.......

Oh well, got a whole year to do it better. Still a fan and can't wait to see who made it.

 Oh well ... bummer....Well at least you got that far. I completly missed the audition deadline due to all the damned miles I put on the cabrio this summer. Our audition video is still on a disk in my glove box.

Team Rubicon, I am there with you on all this. I cant really say much but it was outta my hands... Everyone loved my co-driver and I's personality we had laughs and great conversation up to phone call with a reason for Denial (H8trs) but who knows if I will ever audition again.. I say f&*k it I would rather just keep my buddies on here than keep trying and have h8trs keep trying to kill things 

Not worried about it, I had fun doing filming and my car is in the best shape of its life no matter what since I did do some exterior changes and just plain cleaned her up. 

I knew it was a longshot to begin with.....but it got Chris and I out the house and working on the cars a little bit more, plus we got to ride around making asses of ourselves with cameras and cars, it was fun either way.

The the whole TeamGTO contraversy, and the coyote killers.....man bullrun forum and bullrun in general has been fun as !@#$ this year.

Yeah, this forum has slightly taken over a lot of tie in my life, but I love it!
