Well as most of you know, I am building a one of a kind Chevy Pick up. Yes an '85 Chevy Custom Delux has been transformed into a stock car-esk, Camaro influenced machine. Full out Gen3 Camaro Z interior, dash, floor, well based of of the floor and Sub-clip.
Recently we got a fax at the shop from Bodyshop magazine.
Bodyshop Magazine's first annual Canadian Custom body and paint award.
My boss figured it wasn't worth the paper to write on and discarded it. I seen it in the garbage can and pulled it out. Thinking to myself, perfect, I got a truck that is wild and definatly has possiblities of winning an award. So I taped it right up on the wall above his desk. I hope he got the hint. I would talk to him straight out, if were at the shop most of the time.
Final entry date is Sept 10, so I am hoping byt the 9th I can have the final photos ready and in. Which gicves me a fair chance to get this beast at least into paint and presentable.
Our shop needs business, what better way to promote our name.
He is were I am at now, The first prime coat has been sprayed ready to find and fix all the imperfections. Now to start the final body work and get it to this stage on the passenger side.
Oh and F.Y.I. to those following earlier episodes. I still have no box sides. I am really getting anxious now.
