I'm here and waiting to beat the hell out of my Challenger for a chance at this. Have my 3 weeks of vacation put away, either to use for Bullrun or a cross country roadtrip.

Haha! I haven;t had a vacation in two years that wasn't spent trying to cram as much time in with my mom while I still had the chance! I drove 1600KM's once a week through Alberta/Saskatchewan winter for 4 months just to see her, and put a total of 35000KM's on my sp. ed car. And I STILL want to give Bullrun the first three weeks off I've had since the doctor told my mom she was terminal. I have worked my a$$ off for 3 years just to get a car that was under 13 years old, and when I finally do, it is a car that blows most away.

That's only one side of Team Ruby - dad has "degenerative disk disease" - in layman's terms, he has 6 impacted disks, 3 lacerated disks, and a broken vertebrae. I drove out to see mom for the weekends - dad lived in my mom's hospital room for 5. When he had to go home, he would leave for half a day to spend 2 hours driving back to his house, get clean laundry, cook mom dinner (do NOT trust the hospital food!), then drive 2 hours back. In a 2 door 1996 standard Sunfire.

Dad and I are ready to beat the pi$$ outta my monte, if need be, and are ready to swing half to the cancer society to hopefully make a difference to some other family who finds themselves in the same situation are were. And it means enough to us that, for me, I will personally drop the match on the one car I have ever owned that I am actually proud of, and give up the only time I am given for vacation in a long time, and for dad, to sit, and drive for 8 hours a day, for 21 days, with strenuous driving, with a destroyed back, swollen legs, and constant pain. Plus, he's gotta put up with me.

For me to tell you that we are ready to take this to the next level would be a severe understatement - if we get picked, ya best be pulling your panties up to catch it, cuz we are going to bring it all, and more!

They know who I am, what I am all about, and how I am comitted to finishing what I start in "Grand" style. If thats not enough, then so be it.

I'm all for the freedom of expression and if that means nakedness fine.....but honestly.....the spandex was all I could stand of your form racertci.  If you do choose to be naked...I'll respectfully look away, get in my car and drive as far away as possible as fast as possible.

Like Aimie said earlier she has had some tough family times. Well Ican understand that for sure and I know if my Dad was here today no matter his shape we would be fighting to be the driver. Cancer competely destroyed him and then took his life.
