I know that they were the first team to arrive in Austin.

I wouldn't be surprised if they finished in the top 5 overall. I wish the results were published somewhere.

They are awesome, met them at the drivers meeting. Glad they did well! 

they have even finished the route on the home page.  Maybe we will know the results before the TV show is shown.

Meeting Brooke & Amanda and Mike from Shelby was one highlites of the trip for me.

I saw them up on the roof of the hotel a few times, but they always seemed to be surrounded by people.

I didn't want to be one of those guys who come up and say 'Hey I saw you on TV!'.   However, they did seem to be really cool and would say hi to anyone.

BTW - Can you tell these girls were on the show and abused thier car?  Look at the front end protector they put on the IS350

Really my daughters and my wife pulled for those two from the start of last season and they were cool enough to chat with my daughter a couple of times and sent her a signed pic (which is right beside the Jonas Brothers poster in her room) and I told them I wanted a pic and they were cool enough not to run away from me at the party and let Aaron snap a few shots.

awww thanks! that was brooke's sister hannah with us. we had an amaaazing time!! kinda played it safe (sort of haha) and focused more on partying than pushing our car against the much much faster ones. tried to stay out of trouble with the law as well (and still apparently failed lol...) but all in all, best experience ever!! :)

Brooke and Amanda have always been real cool on the forum. Mike was the one that surprised me. I rarely see him on here and when he is he hardly says anything but at the party he knew who I was and about my car which was real cool with me.

Sorry Hannah I didn't mean to give her a different sister either. She pushed you guys over the top on the cuteness factor. Ted Barret's guys were a close second and then Kristine. That's how I saw it.

Brooke and Amanda were the only people I really didn't get to talk to in NY.  I got to talk with Team Soltice and Mike as well as Goldberg for at least a breif moment, but never saw Team Lexus until they left for the starting line.

I'd be interested in seeing the results as well.

It was great meeting them at the start line in NYC, I also chatted with them at the party in Pittsburgh and we followed them out of Monticello. Great gals, and the car bra was some awesome MacGyvering. I'm still wiping god damn bugs off my bumper, hahaha.

I beg to differ with you girls, on day one you gave us a run for our money heading up to Monticello!  You girls are awesome drivers and you made it fun and difficult to get past you, but once we did the Panoz really took off.  We look forward to seeing you again soon.

I can agree the few emails we have sent back and forth they are way cool!

The Lexus girls were cool as hell. When we were about to leave Staunton, we were next to last in line with the Lexus girls behind us. we asked the girls to back up into the street behind us so we could both cut around the corner and make it out of town in front of everyone. They were a little slow gettiing started around the corner probably because they were setting their GPS, but none the less, we both made it around the corner just as the police were starting to move out, we cut in front of front of Clause, Woo, and a couple of others and got right to the front behind the police. It was a slick move and quick thinking on our part and the Lexus girls were cool as hell about it. 

We told them "there are no rules in Bullrun" so lets go for it......  I have sone video of the moment and will post it very soon.

Geez,  I said "look"  not if they are cool irl.  I just don't like the look,  too Paris Hiltonish.   I'm sure they are wonderful women.

No he was not angry. i spoke to him later and he thought it was a pretty slick move on our part.  he was however, not happy with Rawlins when we were at the pine creek lodge, tx about the time he threw a metal napkin holder at him.  saw it all first hand.
