Let me start by saying that the title to this weeks blog is completely untrue! But I would have to say I wouldn't pass it up if I ever get another chance to attend it again.
Now that that is out of the way. Let me begin by saying thanks to all the Rally teams that were so nice to me and the other fans that attended the event. But I have to extend a special thanks to David and Andy for being such pleasant hosts to everyone. I really liked the open bottles of Vodka. HMMM MMMM GOOD! Thank God they took them away after 9:30. I was getting the warm toes and the night hadn't even begun yet. (I had already consumed 1/2 a bottle). This was shaping up to be one hell of a party and I was invited to enjoy it and that was just what I did!

I also met the Bullrun Girls while I was there. I couldn't believe that a table full of sexy fine was just being left alone in the corner. And of course me being me I introduced myself and started to break the ice with them. They asked me what team I was with and told them that I was with Tony and I wasn't running the rally. I was being driven around. That got a giggle and it just got better from there. By the end of the night I had been invited to join them and was able to get a picture of all of them and I together. I know that my picture isn't the best but I know that there are some better pictures as every camera came out when the girls started to gather around me. (again another shocking moment) I have to ask Team Jeep SRT if they can find me a great picture of that one. Seems I had a few Pro pictures taken of me during the SOHO event.
I enjoyed meeting Team Solstice and Team Lexus. They were both so nice, Tony* who is now a big fan of the Lexus ladies spent some time talking with them during the night. I have to say I didn't get enought time with either Tony and T or Brooke & Amanda. I however did get the funnest picture. Thanks Amanda it is the most popular one in my pictures. If Andy and David can recreate the special teams that they had in season 2 for season 3 we are in for a treat. Every team I have met has been great people. I only wish I had time to see Brook and Wade while I was on the wrong coast.
I have several other stories about a couple of SuperCool Teams that are running and have run this years Bullrun. But I think that I am going to hold off on those for another week. This week I wanted to focus on a couple of nice things I did at the party. I did have a great time and met some of the nicest people that drive hard and party harder. This event was everything that I could have imagined.
I can say that it has done nothing but made my resolve for becoming part of this rally or show that much greater. If it means becoming a mean Mister Happy! then I will piss ginger ale.
BTW: Richard Rawlings was off the hook. But didn't we all know that already.
