I believe there were 45 (roughly) cars last year. About 6 of them joined up after the rally crossed the Canadian/ American border.
 

 

62 isn't bad, hopefully there will be a bit more though.

If you get any updates from Grace, or anyone from bullrun for that matter, please let me know!

I'm still trying to pursuade Bullrun to release the starting grid but... either I get a response that says "we'll release the grid in a week or so..." or I get no response what-so-ever. I've tried multiple Bullrun e-mail addresses but nothing.

Honestly I dont think we will know till day of. oh well we are gonna have a blast anyway...as long as the car gets done...nail bitting.

Do you have a back up plan if the car (by chance) isn't done on time? When is the ETA of the car rolling out onto the street for the first time?

for the whole run or just the starting line?, I was talking to Mike and he said its just for the starting that he is not coming for the entire rally.

Richard Rawlings is pretty cool! I met him last year and he is every bit as insane as he is on TV and in all the bullrun videos. At the same time he is a true car guy and is an awesome guy to be around. All of the Bullrunners I have ever met have been amazing! They're all down to earth car people who are there to have a good time, most of them know a lot about cars and will talk to you for hours. Bullrunners are awesome!

I don't think so. He does act a bit crazy when the cameras are around... which is A LOT! When they aren't around though, he's a pretty cool guy. He gave me a tour of his 1973 Caprice last year with his big block 08' Escalade engine and such. Who told you he was an asshole? I mean, he can be a bit over the top, but he's a cool guy, as are most bullrunners.
 

Bill Goldberg may or may not be in the rally. He will be at the start line, but due to his busy schedule, he may not take part in the entire rally, possible just the first few days.

Brian, you're right! It's never too early to start planning for next years Bullrun! Some people put months of preparation into the rally. last year it was the Agent R8 guys who had some serious secret military grade devices in their car. Bill Wu put a lot of effort into his Hummer H2 last year as well.

This year it looks like Ted is putting a lot of effort into getting his ride prepped and ready for the notorius Bullrun rally!!!

Yeah I have been working on this since for over a year now....its been so long that I dont even know if I will understand whats going on when I sit in her at the starting line. lol....Im worried about the withdrawl after its over..next year we have alreay planned the next big event.

The purple Lambo is the Wu guy, and the other is team soltice or something from the show. I have a feeling this years graphics (decals)are gonna suck....I hope I am wrong.....the decals that they had on the run  (2008?) thats Matts picture above those were awesome..this year its looks as if its a huge cheesy pepsi one and a black magic on the other side....like i said hope im wrong...if it looks like crap its not going on I can tell u that.

I know Wu has a purple Murcialago, and I don't think he has a Diablo. Plus I heard that he's bringing a modified BMW to this years rally.
 

Those are not the official decals, don't worry Ted. Those are just recycled decals from previous years plus a pepsi max logo from Kim Kardashians Pepsi Max/ Bullrun/ Maxim Magazine photo shoot. The graphics for 2009 have not yet been made. Don't worry about that.

All the cars (including the spyker and Ferrari) are owned by confirmed bullrunners this year, it's just unconfirmed that those vehicles will be running in the rally.

No unfortunately Mike and the Bullrun team are not as close as they once were. I am going to be arriving into NY on the 5th and hanging with Mike a few times before the race hoping to take mine and his 69 out for a light 150 mile shake down he knows all the good places as he is a true New Yorker! Let me know when you guys are in maybe i can talk him into making a visit for a drink.

I thought Mike was going to show up at the start line with his Team Angry pals from last years Bullrun.  I know the folks at Bullrun said that A LOT of previous bullrunners will be in attendance at the start line this year. We'll see.

I have asked him to come a few times but I honestly dont think he will be there. we will seeee.

I think there was a little blow back for the whole Motherload rally, Mikes still a big supporter of BullRun. You never know...and I hope its more the 62 suppose to be 100. Gumball got 130 or something this year. $45,000 for next year London to NY to ricj for my blood.

I hope the motherlode rally goes well for Mike. I know only a few people have signed up so that's why he moved the date of the rally. He only has about 9 teams including himself. I wish he was doing Bullrun. Honestly though, if he went to the BR start line, he could probably rope in a couple of Bullrunners to do the motherlode rally.

 

Difference is, Gumball will let anyone in who has the money. With Bullrun, Andy and Dave don't just allow any pompous rich dude to come in with his SLR and try to "show everybody up". Gumball always wants to say that they have over 100 cars on the grid. This year, they initially only had 56 cars on the grid so they started calling cold calling rich people and giving them a discount price. Near the end some people were only paying $5000.00. That's how desperate they were to get their "mandated" 100+ cars. Then all the fans go all crazy about how Gumball always attracts more people than any other rally. Yes, but that's only because Gumball will do anything to get 100 cars. With Bullrun, you know that you're surrounded with a cool bunch of people and not just some rich guy who got called by Gumball a few days before the rally and only paid 1/4 of what you did.
 

Bullrun currently claims to have 62 cars on the grid with multiple deals still in the works. Applications are still coming in right now. The grid count is rising, but I wouldn't expect for it to have any more than 75 cars.

Go to the gumball 2009 section of the forum, they were talking about the entry fee and Max (Mr. Gumball) cold calling rich people to see if they wanted cheap entry into the rally just a few weeks ago.
