A month back I went down to SanFran and hooked up with a few Bullrun fans. I have always tried to support the events or efforts of fellow Bullruner's. I have found that these B-runnner fan events are always fun and very entertaining. While I was down there I even got to see Elvis from season 2 and he is one hell of a guy. But we all came together because of a couple of great fans. I would like you all to take a second look at these two.
Aaron's B-Run Profile Spotlight:
TEAM DIRTY SAAB
Driver: Adrian Fontaine Co-Driver: Jason Metz
Jason is the Co-driver and is the one pictured above he is a crack-up and all around nice guy. Adrian is the Driver and is not seen above but is also a great guy. These two are fast studies who have found that Bullrun is an adventure that they don't want to miss out on. They are both full of energy and drive. They did 10 video blogs you might have seen posted on the Bullrun site. So I asked Jason why did you start doing the video blogs and he said to out do my weekly blogs. Funny, he should know I can't be beat unless its in a mountain bike race to Safeway. (inside joke)
Still He and Adrian put together 10 great videos on the season 2 episodes while showcasing themselves. I applaud that type of effort and think that is just what a true Bullrunner would do. You see we know there are thousands of would be teams that want to run this race. Unless you work your ass off to get noticed your staying home. Even then you might have to stay home, Lady luck is a Bitch that doesn't always reward hard work. But I have some hope that this team is on the right path and could make it.
I did some digging on the car after seeing their season three casting video. It is a 2001 Saab and to tell you the truth I didn't know to much about it. I was so impressed with the way Adrian was driving that whip I had to learn more. Adrian told me he scared the !@#$ out of a couple of people during the filming of the casting video.
I can tell everyone Adrian is a sweet ass driver and if he is up against you in a challenge pray to God that the car fails because he won't. He is that good at driving his bad ass car. In fact you don't see this in the video but he spins the car around in a one lane ally. Parking the car right next to a truck that was filming the bitch'in skill. Now, I don't know about Jason's driving skill but his lady drove my truck like she was Bear heading to Happy Hour after work. I bet Jason drives at least as well as her and that is very good my friends. This is a real Bullrun team and they are willing to drive that Saab through hell and back, so don't go crying if they taunt you because you aren't a driver of their skill level. It would be just bad form on TV.
As for the car it is a real sleeper. Not many Americans understand the Saab brand and don't really respect its abilities in the automotive world of high performance. Just get a load of this car. I bet you will never look at a Saab the same way again. It was an eye opener for me and I owned a Saab 900 a few years back. Great car
