The syclones and typhoons where the QUICKEST production truck, not the fastest. The fastest is the SRT-10. :)
I like the SRT-10 pickups, but I wouldn't own one. For the amount of money you spend on the SRT-10 you could get a similar equiped Cummins into the 12's. Plus, you could still tow more, haul more, and not have to pay the insurance of a specialty vehicle like that.
The Raptor is going to be sick. Any details you guys want to know about it? For right now, it will have the same 5.4 V8 that the current F-150 has. Nothing terribly special about it.
The big news is the new 6.2 V8 that will be available in the Raptor late 09. This engine will replace the current V10 in the 3/4 and 1 ton pickups for either the 2010 or 2010.5 model year. Should make 400/400 at least. I think the only F-150 that will be offered with the 6.2 is the Raptor..
It is much more of an offroad truck than a replacement for the lightening.. But, if it has sucess... Why not build a street version? :D

The New Raptor is sick. I seen one with all the bras all over it rolling around a town up here, they filmed their off-roading videos at their test facility just a few miles from here.... don't know if it'll actually be "Baja" capable, but it'll be sick for a stock truck
Lightnings are quick and ugly Sy/Ty's are fast, and SRT-10s are faster, second fastest dodge faster than a SRT-4 Neon slower than the Viper. Sorry Fords trucks I find are ugly. The Sy/Ty's my two favorite truck and SUV need manuals. I seen a Syclone one day and man was I impressed. Thought I say a Sonoma GT once too.
