I have recieved several quotes on transport for the car... 975.00 is the average cost. So that means the entire trip would be around 4 thousand (includes me getting there and back). So as much as I would love to attend the party and the first leg. Nada.

I just checked out Southwest. It showed PDX to LNG round trip 580.00.  Where did you find the other fair? That is a smoking hot price. If we can get that price book it, I'm there!

Hey, if you need a ride to BWI from OC Sunday, I MIGHT be able to accomodate.  I'd be driving back to York, PA from OC, and should be able to make BWI on my way back, provided I have the room.  Just one front bench seat if I bring the truck, but if I bring my other car, there should be enough room.

Don't you worry yourselves with where I got the money for all of that Pudding. What you should be asking yourselves what am I going to do with it?

I am going to party in front of the Fridge and if I get an invite to the "official" Starting Party I am going to buy another $240 worth of Chocolate pudding and swim in front of Eugene City hall and Tape it for YOUTUBE so all my party friends can see me bath in sweetness.

I heard that the fans might not be invited to the party since it's at a very classy location. I could be wrong though.

Fans only attend the starting line, and I can only speak for myself but I have no issue with showing fans of the fear factor style TV show some thanks its just good marketing. The real rally is something completely something else with a $20,000 price tag.

Plus, most of the fans have either very unique rides (like army trucks, twin turbo ford pick-ups) or at least somewhat respectable sports cars.  Now my car isn't anything special and no offense to others on the site, but if I had a regular sedan or old beater, I would feel a bit embarressed rolling across the start line all stickered up

Although I joined this site for the TV show,  I've become convinced that I want to do the rally as well.  I won't be doing it this year but I will be busting my butt looking for sponsors and a co-driver for the 2010 rally,  any volunteers?  

Bullrun is known for having the highest of the high end..put it this way my Chevelle is over a $100,000 and it will probably be the cheapest on the starting line. lol
