R.I.P. Chrysler? Or will they Continue?

So they are finally declaring bankruptcy today or tomorrow it seems.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.  The optimists say they will come out of bankruptcy and strike the deal with FIAT still be in business.   The pessimists say Chrysler is done.

I personally think FIAT is ironically going to give Chrysler the same treatment Chrysler gave AMC in the 1980's.  Fold up the whole company except for Jeep.
