What are the Odds of a Similar Car Running?
With this weeks show being dark (no episode of Bullrun) and Mister Happy in the shop getting his clothes repaired. I was just thinking about the future of my Team and is this time well spent or just a fool digging his own hole?
Over these years we have talked about Bullrun's return and all great !@#$ that surounds Bullrun. Andy and David have really put on a great season two and the future looks to be bright as the fans keep coming on board. That is great because it will ensure a steady flow of seasons for fans of the rally to watch and try to get involved in. I for one am stoked for that.
Now, I have met thousands of people through this site and have enjoyed the stories of cars and parties they had to tell. BUT.... Isn't there always a "but". As the fan base grows it will become even harder to "Drive the show." Andy has said "ANY car has a chance to compete." I believe him he has never lied about any of the facts he has posted on the site. That means another Mustang or F150 could make the cut for season three. I know that I don't have that type of car but my Teams car is another VW classic and that point is clear to very me. If I was a producer I would look at the viewers and ask myself. Would they want to see a similar car in the rally?
That simple question answered right ensures the success of the Bullrun TV show. To us its a hobby or a passing fancy. However to Andy and David it is their bread and butter. So are B-run teams similar to teams that have already run the show going to have a chance in the up coming season or not???? $200,000.00 Dollars for that answer and I'm sure Andy & David aren't going to be giving us any hints as to that questions answer.
Until next weeks blog. You will know where to find me. I will be here digging my hole and maybe just maybe, I'll find my golden ticket to the worlds greatest car rally! This team never gives in and that is why we will be standing on the starting line someday. I'm sure that there are several other teams that are hoping for their chance as well. That is all good as long as they are after me because they can't handle the heat that I'll bring to the party!

Same cars making a comeback
I think like this, with as many people who mod cars and with differnt extents of mods everybody doed to their cars I think it could and should be possible. But it aint that cut and dry, your query is to simplistic. Its not just returning another make and model. THeres already two mustangs now that are practically the same. Yeah only one of'em is actually a competing car. THey are the same as they are both S197's even though they are different trims(ie SHelby and I guess GT) and thats about all I know. And they are probably different years. THats what I'm getting at if a model is to come back it sould be a different year and that year should not reseble cause we know Ford usually goes a few years without changing a model.
If another Mustang should run and because they usually go unchanged for a while, run a different year. We know 79-04 are all fox chassis but the bodies have changed. and drivetrains have really changed alot from the 2.3 al the way to the 4v4.6. From a C4/C3 auto, SROD 4speed to the new 4speed autos, /T56 and other. Bring another Mustang back, just not a S197. Seeing 79-04 are all fox chassis its easier to break them up by bodystyle, 79-86 arent like 87-93. 94-98 dont look alike but are the same, 99-04 are just like 94-8 but with alot of changes that make them a different car altogether. NOt to mention Coupe(sunrook, solid, T-top), Hatch(sunroof, T-top, solid) and Convertible. SAme with the Fseries and other cars. A different year, bodystyle and drivetrain shouldnt loose viewers.

LOL! Spider door.... I'm going to add a oil jet. Because everyone nows a Bug wets itself around Fords. So they get to close and I will spray!

Like HERBY? awsome. Or SPY HUNTER? either way it might come in handy. OH WAIT!!!!!!! there is another couple quarts of oil you have to account for. what would the total be now 11+.. LOL just get some used stuff and spray UP. About windshield height.
