The moment of truth! Who from Trackstar-racing will be Bullrunning this year? Michelle Rodriguez? (She came out to one of the Bullrun parties last year and expressed interest in the event) Tyson Beckford? (Tyson did Gumball last year so he's into the rally scene)

Yeah! Good luck getting up in the morning! You're going to need all the help you can get! Well, if you remember these three things, you won't have to worry about anything on the rally.

1. Don't drive too fast

2. Don't drink too much

3. Don't party too hard.

I was joking about mt little "rules". No bullrunner in the right mind would follow them. If they did, the rally wouldn't be called Bullrun, it would be Bullwalk! LOL!

Matthew, of course you were kidding. We have lots of room in the car and will take whatever time is needed to take care of the girls  :)   

only question is, should I get seperated before leaving or wait til it hits the air and then take the consequences ? I'll just roll with it as usual.

This is not the reality show. This is for the real Bullrun rally.

 

Yes I will be on team ( Sleee "Z" )  with a group of friend/business associates.   As of now we will have 3 vehicles on our team "Mercedes-Benz SLR,  a Mercedes-Benz SUV, and more than likely  I have decided to drive a chase vehicle due to the fact that I will prob be hung over the entire trip.  Choices of vehicle will be H3 , Denali, or pimped out RV.   I need somethng big enough to conduct business in. I will be updateing multiple websites on this trip etc during the day and at night I will be loaded.

We intend to use some of the footage in the video below in our audition video.

This was a ton of fun. I never before burnt up so much tire in one day before.

Not as much as you Im sure, but enough to keep out in front of the majority.  Oh, wait, thats right, it's not a race!!! 

Its Ok to talk a little 'smack" isnt it ? I'll push it to the limits to back up the talk though....

You guys should team up, get each others numbers and let each other know where the cops are, share route info and travel together.

There's two types of Bullrunners;

1) The bullrunners who travel in a convoy with multiple cars and allies.

2) Lone wolves usually travel alone or with one or two other cars and keep all info within the small group. Thay are usually the ones who arrive first at each destination.

When running in the Hot Power Tour ive always joined up with another car or two for multiple reasons. 

I, we, will definitly be seeking out a running partner or two. Its always better that way then in a crowd. Crowds cant make decesions on what to do next and one or two can. Plus, you only have to look out after you and your partner, not dozens. It makes communication easier as well. 

But of course, I am always good at being the lone ranger too. Just have to see what happens.

If any more old school muscle cars show up, maybe you could rope in one of them. Usually you see the similar cars running together. In the past, most of the muscle car guys end up running together, though there hasn't been a real presence of muscle until recently. In 05' Richard Rawlings brought his 31' Model A Hotrod and this year (as well as last year) his 73' Chevy Caprice with an 08' Escalade motor. Then there's Mr. Angry (who is not attending this year ) In 2007 there was a 70's (can't remember the year) Trans Am and in previous years there have been one or two cars with REAL horsepower, not those ferrari washing machines.

I agree, traveling alone or with another team would probably work best, you can avoid the tickets easier than if you're traveling in a multi-million dollar convoy made up of bright yellow, red, blue etc. Supercars. Thay attract most of the unwanted attention.

Old school muscle is what we are all about. Although I dont really consider the GN a muscle car, it comes in pretty close. 60s and 70s were the true muscle.  Hope a few show up so we can show the "Super Cars" how its done. 

I so wanted to bring my 67 Pontiac on the rally, it would have been a huge hit I think. However, its just not the car for the ride. I saw the Mr. Angry car, (Mike Musto), Richard Rawlings 73 Caprice, and the 70s Trans Am in some of the clips of previous rallys. Those cars get way more attention then others. People can relate to them a bit more, at leaset my kind of people.  

If your in a big group and you get stopped as a group, like in past rallys, you are quilty by association. Guaranteed ticket!!!  If one gets a ticket,  then everyone gets a ticket.

Based on my experience, the best thing to do when you get stopped is to admit you were going fast, "yep I did it" Sorry!!  Wont do it again :)   most of the time you get off pretty easy and sometimes all together.  But when they ask "do you know how fast you were going"   for goodness sakes dont tell them, just agree that it was fast.

My father was a cop for a long time, the thing they hate most is someone lying about it, or to say "why did you stop me",  thats just plain pitiful and makes cops really mad. 

 

Team Grand National has it official car number now. Its #99 as requested.

T-shirts ordered today. Waiting on final proof. Logos will show up without  black back ground.

These will be for personal use only due to having the Bullrun shield on them, but I may order more without shield replaced by our car number.

Bringing the Z to the starting line and most likely cruising with them to the first checkpoint.

Mike. Tony has my numbers, so theres no problem with getting in touch with me at the start and after so you guys can follow along to the first check point as long as we are not going to far out of your way.
 

 

So from what I have heard they have 62 teams and rising, also that 25 super fans are being invited to the starting line not sure about the party..more the merrier.

Im arriving early on the 5th i work for a cruise line and am getting off the ship in NJ and then staying at the hotel same as the run has for the10th.

Meeting up with Mike (angry) and taking lucy out for a shake and bake, anyone in town early let us know.

No updates. Bullrun has been very quiet... like always. I'll see if I can get some more info for you guys.

I do know that Trackstar-Racing has NOT signed all of it's team members for the rally yet, hence why they have said nothing.

According to Grace @ Bullrun yesterday, there are 75 teams signed up at this time. You may already have covered this, not sure.

Grace said that? wicked!!..last i heard it was 62, but I do know that if she is speaking of the starting line only then that means 25 are fans invited...so that means 37 team actually on the rally?? that would suck..
