I didn't see any tracks in front or behind the jeep. Looks like they got it stuck, then left it there for several hours (days?) before they came back to get it. By then, it looks like the mud/sand had washed around and under it.. Sucks for them!
A lot of that damage could have been prevented with a little shovel time. Try to do it the easy way.. and bam, crap like that happens. Heck, if they would have even taken 5 minutes to high lift it out of that hole and throw some rocks under the tires, they probably could have driven right out! The guy that jumps out of the drivers seat doesn't sink and inch.. Couldn't have been that bad!

HOLY CRAP!!! What the hell was the ford driver thinking, when he floored it I knew something bad was about to happen. I drove a tow truck for years and from where he was hooked was bad and also trying to pull the jeep further into the mud was bad. Surly someone could have got to the back side of the jeep to pull it backwards and away from the mud pit.

Agreed. But then again if they knew how to use a high lift or how to stack rocks they wouldn't have left it stranded in a gully to get set in sediment in the first place.
Fun to watch though. There is another video out there showing a truck trying to pull a jeep out with a strap around the top of the roll cage. It pulls the body off the frame.
They could have pulled it out if the ford driver put it in low and went slow they would not have had the situation. The second problem was he was pulling it out with a ford, he should have used a dodge.

Na, they where probably better off using the Ford. The Ford just ripped the front axle out of it. A Dodge would have pulled the Jeep in 2, frame and all!

It's scary how many people do this. I've got years of going to Rausch Creek off road park here in PA, and I see this all the time. Fortunatley without those effects though. I think it's because people get too lazy to shovel, high lift, and pile rocks.
Just the angle alone with how deep the right tire was i was like hell nooooo this isnt gonna be good..........So after running downstairs for a venom and some slim jims..... I was ready to watch the carnage...... and BAMMMMMM snap goes the weasle...
More like not how to pul anything out lol. The guy pulling is an idiot, your supposed to slowly pull not floor it lmao.
wtf was that guy thinking?
