BULLRUN II (SPEED): Break-in the Rules! Or Just Bent to !@#$?
There has been a lot of talking about Team Vw and Team Avalanche Breaking the rules. If the producers allowed that then it would be against the law. So I am guessing that isn't the case. It's just these teams can read between the rules. I would bet that they are going to adjust the rules to keep things like this from happening again, no matter what you think about it now.
Understand we don't know all the rules to the game. I don't think they were ever posted for general viewing. The staff has given us a small guild line as to what we can expect if we decided to enter the casting is all.
You all have started to pile on Matt and Bear re-guarding Bears genius use of the rules. He found a loop hole that Matt and him exploted perfectly. That bending of the rules didn't go un-noticed by the other Bullrun teams. Who at this point are getting a little scared of being buried alive by this team. They have become somewhat of a lighting rod now that Evo's Shadow is gone. They just seem to be poking at a Bear with a stick.
I can back up that view by pointing out that VW bro's did(n't) break the rules as Andy himself pointed out in another thread a couple days back. In the rules it says as per Andy "A team can not harm another teams car. It doesn't say anything about the keys to that car." (I might not have quoted Andy right. But you get the idea?) Bill bent the rules just as Bear had, but I think that Bear's bending didn't harm a teams times and was less of an issue as one that directly effected the total time of a fellow team. So which is really worse Keys or Gas?
Now Paul was the one that stood up to Bear over the issue and the others just talk among themselves over the "gas" issue. I think it is a like the sick chicken. All the teams are pecking at the sick one. Saying "YA" lets get him while they are hiding among the flock licking their own injuries. Can we say Team Solstice?
With that said.. Bear and Matt have painted the bulls eye on thier own back with their actions thus far. Bear is like a grease fire in a breakfast shack. Once it starts it is impossible to stop. They really don't see themselves as a threat but they continue to destroy teams in every challenge the are put in. Not a threat? Wrong they are a threat and the other teams can see it. Unlike EVO who were a threat only to themselves, Team Avalanche are playing it smarter and shoving it in the other teams faces.
Elvis and Steve have spotted the target and understand they need to eliminate that danger before it burns the entire house down. As we see in the preview for episode 7 these two teams are going for one another necks. I predicted this confrontation long before this preview. They are like oil and water and one team is going to rise above another. But one team is going to get a boot in the ass and that is going to change the whole show! The Drama is just beginning and we had better bolt the doors.
If you focus on the bent rules alone and not the issues that are turned up because of them. Then your missing the building drama that is about to erupt in a monstrous way!
AARON & MISTER HAPPY!
